What is Asthma?
People diagnosed with asthma have symptoms that include:
- coughing
- wheezing
- chest tightness
These symptoms are brought on by a spasm in the bronchi which constrict the passage that air flows through to get to the lungs. This constriction interferes with breathing and can cause a tremendous amount of discomfort and even panic sometimes.

What we do for asthma patients
When you breath, air goes in your mouth and then into tubes called Bronchi and then into the lungs. The bronchi tubes have muscles around them which allow the tubes to get bigger and smaller. When you are watching TV or reading a book, the muscles contract and the tubes get smaller so just enough are gets to the lungs. But when you are running, you need more oxygen so the muscles of the butes get another signal which allows the tubes to get bigger. so more air can reach the lungs for more oxygen.
One cause of symptoms of asthma
is when the signal to the muscles of the bronchi are faulty, and they don’t expand to allow more oxygen into the lungs . By restoring the proper nerve function to those nerves will allow the body to regain normal function and the symptoms of asthma could be eliminated.
The improper nerve flow could be caused by many different sources. A fall, or car accident, even a difficult labor during child birth could be enough to alter the nerve function enough to cause the symptoms of asthma. Yes steroids will override the nerve function in many cases and control the asthma, however all of those medication have side effects.
