Many are saying it is the healthiest food on earth.

Over the past few years the incredible benefits of the Avocado have been brought forth, but many people may not know how good this fruit really is. It is most likely originated in Puebla, Mexico and has been found in caves that date back to about 10,000 BC. Just like a banana, it will ripen 1-2 weeks after it is picked.

Reason it is considered the healthiest food on earth

It contains all of these B vitamins:
B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, and B9

It also contains these other important vitamins C, E, K

Minerals
Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Sodium, Zinc

Avocados contain more potassium than a banana, (14% to 10%)

Avocados help lower the incidences of heart disease because it has 23% foliate and it contains Vitamin E, monounsaturated fats and glutathione. Foliate also lowers the risks of stroke and helps prevent birth defects.

Eating avocados help our body absorbs 5x the amount of carotenoids (lycopene and beta carotene)

Avocados are also amazing for the eyes… they contain more carotenoid lutein than any other fruit which protects against macular degeneration and cataracts. They have the ability to lower bad cholesterol which causes a rise in good cholesterol. Studies show that the high levels of oleic prevent can breast cancer, inhibit tumor growth and seek out precancerous cells and destroys them!

High fiber in Avocados helps to keep you fuller longer, balances your blood sugar and is good for metabolic health making this fruit great for weight loss. Avocados help to clean out your intestines which is good not just for you digestion but this can help relieve bad breath too.

You don’t even have to eat an avocado to get reap some of its benefits. The oil is used to treat psoriasis or other skin irritations. It is nourishing to you hair and skin and when mixed with other oil is reduces symptoms from arthritis. They are known to be a natural anti inflammatory.
