Wouldn’t it be great if flu shots really worked?
They don’t, but this will….
I just saw one of our local pharmacies offering flu shots for $20! Wouldn’t it be great if we could just go down there and for only $20 make sure we didn’t get the flu for the whole season? Of course, it would be great. But there’s only one hitch to the plan. The shots don’t work. They have to be one of the biggest health scams ever invented.
Recently, I just uncovered another study that shows how futile it is to rely on these shots. After I tell you about the ridiculous results of that study, I’ll tell you about a better way to spend your money. The study looked at two groups of people who were matched for age and sex. The researchers gave one group of 38 men and women the flu shot. Of that group, 21 ended up with the flu. Eight cases were severe and 13 were minor. Another group of 34 men and women did not get any flu prevention. In that group, 20 got the flu. There were eight cases of severe flu and 12 minor cases. The results clearly show that the flu vaccine had absolutely no effect at all. But don’t go away yet.
In Fact
The shot did have an effect. When the researchers looked at the number of days the flu kept the people sick, they found something very interesting. The not-so-lucky ones who got the shot were sick with the flu for twice as long compared to those that did not receive a shot. All readers should know that even though the groups were small, the results were so dramatic that they were all statistically significant. So how are you going to spend your five dollars?
Let me suggest that instead of dropping by the pharmacy, come to the office and get a homeopathic product called Influenza. One bottle is enough for the whole family. You take a few drops for a few days then just once a month during flu season.
Yours for better health,
Dr. Jack Belitz
P.S. 5000 units of Vitamin D and 10,000 units of Vitamin A will also help increase your immune system during the winter months and help with all the other bugs going around this time of year.
