Tis’ the season. The “holidays are approaching and with all the get-together and extra activities come the inevitable stress.
Let’s Talk Stress…
The first is physical stress.
I realize you aren’t going to be falling out of a tree or jumping head first into a pool, but almost everyone has increased physical stress on their body during this time of year. You will be carrying things and buying things and just in generally probably getting out in the cold weather more than normal.
The second type of stress is chemical stress.
Think about how your eating habits change this time of year. There will be a lot of extra sweets, more cookies and cakes and candy at parties and given as gifts. You will probably be eating more calories, and working out less because of the cold weather. All of that adds up to extra chemical stress that is just part of the season.
The last type is mental/emotional stress.
Let’s face it. Family is amazing but it also has its challenges and this time of year we usually spend a lot more time with family than the rest of the year. That can put a lot of extra mental emotional stress on your life over these next 6 weeks.
Add it all up and all that extra stress can really put a lot of pressure on the nerves of your body. When that happens, the every day healing that takes place to keep you young and energized starts to suffer. Before you know it, you are getting sick more often, you don’t have the energy you are used to and you just don’t feel as good as you want to.
This is the effects of stress and this time of year; all three types of stress combine to create a bigger problem than normal. It may seem hopeless, but the good news is that there is a way to reverse the effects of the stress. A very advanced method called “Network Spinal” helps relieve the affects of all the stress that we put ourselves through this time of year and keep those nerves working at their peak so you can continue to enjoy a healthy and energy filled life through out this holiday season.
