Arthritis

As many of you know, Arthritis is a diagnosis based on x-ray findings. it is just a degeneration of a joint. Everyone over the age of 35 can probably be diagnosed with arthritis to some extent- so why is it that not everyone has pain? Quite frankly, the fact that you have arthritic joints doesn’t cause pain; In fact if you get rid of the joint pain, the arthritis doesn’t disappear.

This newsletter is dedicated to help people decrease or eliminate the pain that is associated with arthritis. Very often the pain is a result of a lack of nutrients. Here is a list to start with. If you need help making sure that you have enough of these in your diet, I will be glad to help you figure that out.

This is one of the biggest things we use in this office because it is so important in helping so many different things. Inflammation is one of them and be taking fish oil the inflammatory process can be greatly reduced. The quality and type of fish oil is very important. I have seen a lot of people who thought they were using a quality one because of where they got it, and when they switched to one that was good, it made all the difference.

7) Ginger
This root has a number of beneficial effects and one of the most important is anti-inflammatory effects. It’s also very helpful to treat nausea.

8) Cat’s Claw
This anti-inflammatory was the subject of a recent study that showed a significant impact on joint swelling and pain. Choose a brand that is free of Tetra-cyclic oxindole alkaloids

9) Stay away from Echinacea
This cold fighting nutrient can make your pain symptoms worse.

Finally the most important is that your body is often trying to fix these problems but if the nervous system isn’t fully functioning it may not be able to coordinate the processes needed to accomplish that.
