Most people have a very easy time understanding how much stress an adult in our society can have.  Whether it be from work, or paying bills or marinating the house or a relationship, stress is everywhere.  But when we think of our children, it’s harder to understand that they can experience pretty severe stress.  Some might say, “They have it easy!  No work? No bills? All they have to do is go to school and be nice, right?

Wrong!

Let’s look at each of the 3 types of stress…

Physical:
There are so many ways physical stress applies to a kid’s life.  Crashing a bike, wrestling with sibling, there is the physical stress that comes from sitting in front of a video game all day and not doing anything active. We don’t have to have a broken bone in order for there to be physical stress.
Chemical stress:
think about how much fast foods our kids today consume.  Are they really getting the proper nutrients that their body requires to stay healthy. Or how about all the pesticides and herbicides those chemicals are all around us whether you use them or not.  We haven’t even mentioned one of the biggest stresses – vaccines! There are so many awful chemicals that are injected with each and every vaccine and the number of vaccines that are “required” these days is crazy.
Emotional stress:
I know kids in 15 different actives; swimming, dance, music class, homework, and softball, select basketball, the list is endless!  Also, when we were kids, we saw our friends at school and if they lived on our street we may have some time with them for a bit in the evening, but these days, so many kids are connected to their friends through the phones and video games that they hardly ever get a break and that can cause some huge issues.
We have more sick kids (and adults) then ever before and studies are proving that stress is a major factor! Very few kids have time to be kids, or to just sit and be with themselves.
A great way to release stress in the body is a technique called network Spinal Analysis.

How it works:

As your body is exposed to stress, tension builds up in the system.  As the body holds on to this tension, it causes your body’s communication network to become overwhelmed, or derailed  which stops the body from doing the every day healing it should be able to do and this showing up as symptoms such as lashing out, illness and pain . This interference and tension can be cleared, through a series of light contacts in specific ‘spinal gateways’ which allow the nerves to connect properly with the brain again.
After a bit of care, your body will learn to process the stresses you feel from life more efficiently instead of holding onto it.
Something else that is really important to reducing stress in your child’s body and life is be conscious of what you are eating and drinking. Excess sugar is a huge problem in our diets. Vaccines also potentially fall into this category because they contain some really bad ingredients…. From formaldehyde, human and animal cells-DNA, acetone, aluminum, thimerosal, Phenol, Phenoxyethanol – known carcinogen.
